SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Incumbent Congressman Brandon Williams, the Republican nominee, and challenger John Mannion, the Democratic nominee, participated in a debate hosted by NewsChannel 9 on Tuesday, October 22.

The two are squaring off in New York’s 22nd Congressional District, which could help shift the balance of power in the House of Representatives.

Under the latest boundaries, the 22nd Congressional District currently comprises of all of Onondaga and Madison counties and parts of Cayuga, Cortland and Oneida counties. The district includes the Cities of Syracuse, Utica, Auburn, Oneida and Cortland.
