Trump dance takes over sports world

(NewsNation) — After a landslide victory in the presidential election, it has been a sweet few weeks for supporters of President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump seems to be a favorite of athletes across the country.

In Week 11 of the NFL, several players celebrated touchdowns and other big plays with Trump’s trademark shimmy.

The move, where the 45th President moves his arms back and forth with clenched fists, was performed by the Tennessee Titans’ Calvin Ridley, Las Vegas Raiders rookie Brock Bowers, and Detroit Lions pass rusher Z’Darius Smith, among others.

Trump attended UFC 309 Saturday night at Madison Square Garden to raucous applause and jubilation. Following his main event victory, heavyweight champion Jon Jones performed the dance before pointing to the president-elect.

Jones then greeted Trump, shaking his hand before giving the president-elect his championship belt. Trump was joined at the event by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Elon Musk, and other members of his imminent adminstration.
