Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) said he believes President Biden will pardon his brother Jim during his last month in office during a Tuesday appearance on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America.”
“I do think he’ll pardon other family members. He’s going to have to,” Comer said in the clip highlighted by Grabien.

Jim was investigated by the House Oversight Committee, which is chaired by Comer, for questionable loan deals. However, he said the investigation which was sent to the Department of Justice for prosecution was never pursued.
“We have a corrupt justice cabinet under Merrick Garland. I don’t think anyone in America disagrees with that now,” Comer said.
“So what — what we did with Jim Biden, the president’s brother, we brought him in for a transcribed interview and he lied, just like Hunter Biden lied in his deposition, and it’s a felony to lie to Congress.”
Hunter, who received a pardon from President Biden in December, was involved in business dealings with his uncle Jim. They are both accused of using the president’s name to attract investors, however Joe Biden has not been linked to any illegal dealings with family members.
However, lawmakers like Comer are working to uncover a link.
“We have criminal referrals on Jim Biden, as well as Hunter Biden, so I fully expect Joe Biden to pardon Jim Biden and maybe others,” Comer said.
