(NewsNation) — Not one to shy away from the spotlight, President Donald Trump is set to sign a slew of executive orders in front of a live audience at Capital One Arena on Monday.

Trump said he plans to sign nearly 100 executive orders on his first day. That will happen at a desk set up onstage in Capital One Arena, NewsNation’s Libbey Dean reported.

The executive orders are expected to include temporarily suspending the ban on TikTok, measures to toughen border security and an end to so-called DEI mandates in the federal government.

On immigration specifically, Trump is expected to declare an emergency at the southern border and reinstate his “Remain in Mexico” policy, among other actions.

“The border security measures I will outline in my inaugural address tomorrow will be the most aggressive, sweeping effort to restore our borders the world has ever seen,” Trump told attendees of a private dinner on Sunday.

Thousands have packed into Capital One Arena to celebrate Trump’s inauguration. He’s set to arrive after his swearing-in ceremony, which was moved inside the U.S. Capitol Rotunda due to cold weather in Washington, D.C.

“Our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous and free,” Trump said during his swearing-in ceremony Monday.
