(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak about the jobs report and economy in the Oval Office on Friday morning, according to two White House officials.
U.S. employers added a solid 151,000 jobs last month, up from 125,000 in January. The unemployment rate rose slightly to 4.1%.
Trump’s remarks, which he will make at 11 a.m. ET, come a day after he postponed 25% tariffs on many imports from Mexico and some imports from Canada.
