(NewsNation) — For the second time on Monday, X appears to be down for many users.
Some users reported an outage of the platform, formerly known as Twitter, around 6:30 a.m. ET, the number of reports skyrocketing to thousands within 20 minutes, according to downdetector.com. That outage subsided shortly after, but as of 10 a.m. ET the site was having trouble loading again.
X is owned by billionaire Elon Musk, who has made a name in the political world in recent months as the head of the President Donald Trump-backed Department of Government Efficiency.
