Viewers can submit their questions for Sen. JD Vance when the Republican vice presidential candidate takes part in a town hall hosted by NewsNation and X.
X users can follow @NewsNation as we ask directly what you want the vice presidential candidate to answer. Use the hashtag #VanceTownHall, and your question may be read on the broadcast.
The town hall will be moderated by NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo in the Detroit metro area. The studio audience will include independents, democrats and republicans.
The town hall will air simultaneously on X and NewsNation on Thursday, October 24 at 8 p.m. EDT. Viewers can find their NewsNation channel at joinnn.com to watch on television or in the NewsNation app.
A special 2-hour edition of “CUOMO” will air after the event.
“We are honored to bring viewers a town hall with the vice presidential nominee for the Republican ticket,” said Cherie Grzech, NewsNation President of News and Politics. “In this critical election year, the greater the number of opportunities for voters to hear directly from the candidates, the better it is for everyone.”
A similar offer for a town hall has also been extended to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic nominee for vice president.
Michigan is one of the most closely contested states in the upcoming election. The Hill/DDHQ election poll tracker shows former President Donald Trump with a .7% lead in Michigan over current Vice President Kamala Harris.
