PEARLAND, Texas (KIAH) — Voting just got a little more relaxing! The Houston Humane Society is bringing “Puppies at the Polls” to the West Pearland Library on Election Day, adding a dose of puppy therapy to the democratic process in Texas.

From noon to 2 p.m., voters can enjoy free cuddles with adorable shelter puppies, helping to ease Election Day stress and make the voting experience more enjoyable.

The Humane Society’s “Paws-itively Patriotic” event aims to create a positive, calming environment for voters. Plus, pet owners who hold onto their “I Voted” sticker can receive a free rabies vaccine for their pet at the Houston Humane Society Wellness Clinic throughout November.
