Chick-fil-A introduces new spring menu items, brings back fan-favorite sandwich

(KTLA) – Chick-fil-A is celebrating the arrival of spring with new seasonal menu items, including a returning fan favorite.

Beginning March 17, the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich will be available nationwide at participating restaurants, featuring three filet options for a customizable experience.

Customers can now choose from three filet options: original, spicy, or grilled.  The sandwich features crispy bacon, Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and BBQ sauce, all served on a toasted bun.

The brand is also introducing a new lineup of drinks, Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages, for a limited time.

Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade: A mix of Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or diet lemonade) and Icedream dessert, blended with natural pineapple and dragon fruit flavors.

Pineapple Dragonfruit Lemonade: Classic Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or diet lemonade) infused with pineapple and dragon fruit flavors.

Pineapple Dragonfruit Iced Tea: Freshly brewed iced tea combined with pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.

Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy: A blend of Chick-fil-A’s Sunjoy beverage — lemonade and sweetened iced tea — with a tropical twist.

“We’re thrilled to bring back the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, with an expanded lineup of options for our Guests, alongside our new Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages, which offer a deliciously sweet and refreshing balance to the smoky BBQ flavors,” Allison Duncan, director of menu & packaging at Chick-fil-A, said in a statement.
